🍫 A Little Christmas Sweetness

Dear Ava,

These were your favourite Christmas chocolates. I picked up a box and shared them with my friends at work this week, just to spread a little extra holiday cheer in your honour.

It felt good to share something you love and turn it into a small moment of kindness.

🎄 Traditions

These two little elves always make the season feel extra magical. I picked them out just for Ava, and she gave them the perfect names – Jolly and Magicals. They bring so many smiles this time of year to the little ones.

This is our nativity scene. The stable was made by Dido, which makes it even more special. It’s a quiet reminder of family, tradition, and the meaning behind the season.

Little things like this are what make Christmas feel like Christmas 🎅🏻🎄

Our new Christmas tree đźŽ„

We put up our Christmas tree. It’s new, bigger, and taller than any we’ve had before. The whole room feels brighter and more festive, and it already makes the house feel like Christmas.

So Proud of Your Hard Work

I just saw your report card, and I want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you. You worked hard, and it shows – amazing results in Geography and English, a very impressive mark in Math (you scored well above the class median – that’s a big accomplishment!) and solid effort in Religion.

I am so proud of you. You are trying, learning, and growing. I can see that you’re doing your best and showing up with a good heart – and you do that every single day.

Keep going, keep believing in yourself, and know that I’m always cheering for you.

A busy week of celebrations

This past week, we celebrated two birthdays in our family. Here’s the cake from one of them … it was a sweet little moment in a busy week.

We also enjoyed the Santa Claus parade, which always brings out the holiday spirit.

We’re already looking forward to Christmas and all the fun that comes with it!

The first snowfall of the season arrived yesterday, covering everything in a soft white blanket. The world looks calm and new again.

Life Lessons from Tata

My sweet Ava,

There are a few things I’ve learned in life that I want you to carry with you as you grow:

1. Be kind – even when it’s hard.

Kindness isn’t weakness. It’s strength wrapped in warmth.

2. Be curious.

Ask questions. Explore the world. Never stop learning It keeps life exciting.

3. Don’t rush through life.

Slow down. Enjoy the little joys … a giggle, a sunny morning.

4. Mistakes happen.

They don’t define you. What matters is what you learn and how you rise afterward.

5. You are loved – ALWAYS.

No matter how big you get or how much time passes, you will forever be my child, my heart, my pride.

I’m here to hold your hand when you need it, cheer you on when you’re brave, and love you through every moment … big and small.
